Two Montini Catholic students win annual Christmas card design contest

Montini Catholic High School community members received a special Christmas greeting in the mail this holiday season.

Senior Raziel Salamanca of Cicero was selected as this year's winner of the Lasallian preparatory high school's Spiritual Christmas Card Design Contest.

Students were invited to submit their designs in November - with the two top entries winning prizes for the best designs.

Raziel's winning submission was a classic nativity scene.

Sophomore Ella Herrmann of Lombard had the second-place entry with her serene nativity depiction.

Raziel's design is featured on the 2021 Montini Catholic Christmas card. The girls also received gift certificates for the Bronco Spirit Store.

"We were very impressed with all of the entries for our second annual Christmas card design contest," said President Jim Segredo. "We really look forward to seeing what our talented students come up with! Congratulations to Raziel, Ella and all of our students who submitted their designs!"
