Streamwood Park District to Host Public Consignment Auction on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The Streamwood Park District is hosting a Public Consignment Auction, put on by Reed's General Merchandise, where residents can bid on antiques, collectibles, and other items put on display.

Absentee bids are encouraged, with a preview of items readily available online at auctionzip.com on Friday, October 15 from 2 -5 p.m. Viewers can use ID # 23035.

The Streamwood Park District is proud to offer new and interesting events to the community.

"The opportunity to host such a new and unique event for our community is one of many goals we have here at the Streamwood Park District,"Marketing & Communications Manager Jerzy Skowron said. "This is just a taste of what we have upcoming in the future."

The auction will take place from 2 -6 p.m., at the Community Center. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Community Center is located at 777 S. Bartlett Road in Streamwood.
