Schaumburg Library to Hold 'Fall Frights' at Spring Valley

A bonfire, professional storytelling and Halloween-inspired activities will all be part of "Fall Frights: Scary Stories and Creepy Crafts," an outdoor program for adults, from 7-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8 at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Rd.

Participants will hear from international storyteller Scott Whitehair, who has performed worldwide at festival and conferences and has been featured on NPR, PBS, WGN Radio and The Risk podcast. Autumn-themed activities and light refreshments round out this adults-only evening. Masks are recommended for vaccinated attendees and required for all unvaccinated attendees.
