St. Isidore Catholic School celebrates centennial year
Honoring school and parish history while launching the next 100 years with great hope.

Fifty families farming the land of what was then known as Cloverdale in 1920, included two classrooms in their new parish church building. Even though it added to the cost of construction - for a total of $58,000 in 1920 dollars - it was important to them that their children's education was faith-based and close to their homesteads. On the first day of school, the day after Labor Day 1921, two nuns and 60 students initiated the 100-year legacy of St. Isidore Catholic School.
On Sept. 18, 2021, the school community, led by Principal Corie Alimento, will launch the next 100 years of their mission to "Create a pathway to higher learning with Jesus at the center." The highlight of the celebration will be the "Legendary" Gala dinner dance on Feb. 26, 2022, at Belvedere Events & Banquets in Elk Grove Village. All are welcome to come and celebrate.
The public is also invited to make an appointment to tour the school and experience the hospitality, family atmosphere, and the high-quality curriculum, as well as extra-curricular activities that have become hallmarks of St. Isidore.
"We are growing into our next 100 years with great hope,"said Director of Advancement Gloria Lorusso.
