Schaumburg Library Invites Teens to Latinx Author Panel Discussion

Teens ages 12-19 are welcome to attend "Dazzling Debuts: A Virtual Author Panel" from 7-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30 online with the Schaumburg Township District Library. Register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link.

This program will feature Latinx authors Olivia Abtahi ("Perfectly Parvin"), Jonny Garza Villa ("Fifteen Hundred Miles from the Sun"), and Crystal Maldonado ("Fat Chance, Charlie Vega").

The featured authors will talk about their books, the writing process and what it takes to be a teen author. Participating teens can ask questions of the authors during the Q&A portion of the discussion.

This program is sponsored and presented in partnership with Evergreen Park Public Library, Mount Prospect Public Library, Berwyn Public Library, and Wheaton Public Library.

Anyone age two years and older must wear a mask while inside the library, regardless of vaccination status.
