Vienna Beef, the legendary Chicago company synonymous with the city's iconic Hot Dogs, Italian Beef and other products, today announced Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots (1026 E. Higgins Road, Elk Grove Village, IL) was inducted into The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame. Bob Schwartz, vice president of Vienna Beef, bestowed the honor on the local vendor that has been providing exceptional customer service and quality food for nearly 20 years.

During the induction ceremony attended by Mayor Craig Johnson, Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots was presented with an Elk Grove Village proclamation and with a commemorative Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame plaque, banner, pin and Hall of Fame branded T-shirts at the event.

“Congratulations to Andy Arnowitz and the staff, family, friends and customers of Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots on being the newest member of The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame,” said Tim O'Brien, president of Vienna Beef. “We are proud to work with beloved neighborhood restaurants like Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots that prides itself on building long-lasting relationships and featuring only the highest quality ingredients in its offerings.”

Two decades ago, Andy Arnowitz, the owner of Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots, went to work on making a lifelong dream of owning and operating a successful neighborhood hot dog stand a reality. Andy has been hard at work perpetuating and enjoying his dream with his supportive wife, Sharon and two grown daughters, Lizzie and Allison by his side. Because of his hours being in a business community, he has been able to make time for both his girls and the business. One interesting side note is that Andy has taken this “neighborhood mom and pop restaurant style” and applied it to a business district. For example, Bubby's supports local businesses by sponsoring their sports teams. Elk Grove Village is a small community with one of the largest numbers of small businesses in the Chicago area.

From 10:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday, Andy has been serving up Vienna Beef Hot Dogs, Polish Sausages, and his Bubby's specialty sandwiches like the Meatball and Italian Beef sandwich smothered in marinara sauce, and the grilled Vienna Beef Salami sandwich. Bubby's hand cut fries are also a customer favorite. Andy makes a point of knowing his customers and their families, and together with Arturo and Carlos, his key guys rounding out the team, they get the job done.

“It is such an honor and celebration to be standing here today acknowledging our new Hall of Fame status and approaching 20 years in business with Vienna Beef,” said Andy Arnowitz, owner of Bubby's Beefs & Red Hots. “Thank you to the Vienna team for this recognition and to our supportive customers for helping make this possible. We are so grateful to our community for helping us thrive and look forward to serving up many more Hot Dogs in the years ahead.”

The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame was created in 2006 to recognize loyal vendors that have become landmarks in their neighborhood through outstanding customer service, community leadership, operational longevity, philanthropic efforts, and devotion to quality operations. To date, only 136 vendors nationwide have been inducted to The Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame. For more information visit, https://www.ViennaBeef.com/Hall-of-Fame.
