Elk Grove Lutheran church to install new pastor July 25

The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Elk Grove Village is pleased to announce the installation of the Rev. Daniel Greg as its new pastor.

The installation will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at the church, 150 Lions Drive, just south of Elk Grove High School on Elk Grove Boulevard. All are welcome.

Pastor Dan grew up in Darien and attended St. Louis University, graduating in 2017 with a degree in English language and literature, and German language and literature, and theology.

He also studied theology and literature for a year at Universitat Heidelberg in Germany. Most recently, he graduated from Concordia University in St. Louis with a master's degree in divinity.

Pastor Dan and his wife Brigitta will be residing locally.

Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit is a friendly, growing congregation that welcomes newcomers to join in learning more about themselves and their relationship with Christ.

The congregation considers itself blessed to have professional church musicians performing and leading its choirs and directing musicians in both traditional and informal worship.
