Lavelle Law attorneys hosting free seminar on less common divorce issues

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law is hosting a free seminar entitled, "Unpacking Less Common Issues in Divorce." This seminar is part of the law firm's quarterly Breakfast Briefs series, which covers a variety of legal topics that impact businesses and individuals.

The panel, which includes Lavelle Law Family and Divorce Law attorneys Amil Alkass, Joseph A. Olszowka and Patti S. Levinson, will explain how to navigate some of the less common issues that can arise in divorce proceedings, including estate planning and immigration issues. The attorneys will cover how to resolve issues without extensive court proceedings by engaging in collaborative divorce.

"Divorce isn't easy for anyone and even the most seemingly simple cases tend to be complex given the heightened emotional state of those involved," said Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "That being said, there certain issues that don't arise often, and it's important to be prepared with the information you need going into the proceedings to achieve a successful and amicable resolution."

"Unpacking Less Common Issues in Divorce" will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, at the firm's Schaumburg office, 1933 N. Meacham Road, Suite 127.
