Jesse Brown Hosts Town Hall Focused on LGBTQ Veteran Health Care

Jesse Brown VA Medical Center will host a Veteran town hall on Thursday, June 24 at 2:30 p.m. The topic of this town hall event will be health issues and health care services for LGBT Veterans.

The town hall will be a virtual event. To participate, Veterans can call 833-380-0741 to participate by phone or visit www.access.live/VAJesseBrown. The town hall will also be streamed live on the Jesse Brown Facebook page at www.facebook.com/VAChicago.

"This town hall event is a great opportunity for Veterans of the LGBTQ community to learn about resources and support available to them," said Becky Powers, social worker and LGBTQ Veteran Care coordinator at Jesse Brown.

This town hall is open to the public. Veterans do not have to be current patients of Jesse Brown to participate in the event. The livestream will also have closed captions available.
