Schaumburg Library is joining forces with Versiti to replenish dangerously low blood supplies in the community. The mobile coach blood drive will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in the Central Library parking lot, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Donors will find the mobile coach near the library's west entrance.

Potential donors should drink plenty of non-caffeinated fluids prior to their visit and bring a driver's license or state issued ID card.

Versiti additionally recommends getting a good night's sleep prior to donation day and eating a healthy meal at least one hour before donating.

Eligibility to donate requires a COVID-19 vaccine on or before July 18.

More information is available at versiti.org.
