ICNA Relief, Amita Health to hold Mission at Home clinic June 19

ICNA Relief is offering a new service for the community.

The 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is partnering with Amita Health to provide a free "Mission at Home" clinic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Glendale Heights Sports Hub, 250 Civic Center Plaza. A team of physicians and partners will be serving local families with a variety of health and social services, including: physical exams; dental exams (adults and children); lab screenings (glucose, urinalysis and pregnancy); dermatology, diabetes and nutrition education, pediatrics; podiatry; physical therapy; pharmacy (free medication based on medical exam at event); primary care school/sports physicals (immunizations not included); Halal food bags; COVID-19 vaccines; and more.

They also will provide access to other care services such as: chaplain services; counseling services referrals; food pantry referrals and free food staple box (while supplies last); and social service evaluation and referrals. Access DuPage connects patients with a medical home, speciality referrals, and access to affordable medications.

Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made it even more critical to support those in need and provide care to those who can't afford it. This event will be held in accordance to Centers for Disease Control guidelines to keep everyone safe. Strict social distancing protocols will be enforced, and pre-registration is preferred to assure appointment and to help to control the flow of patients.
