The Roselle Public Library District announces a vacancy on the board of trustees, effective immediately.

Qualified residents of the library district are encouraged to send their resumes/CVs to the board via email at boardoftrustees@rosellepld.org.

 

Applications will be accepted now through 5 p.m. Friday, June 4. Questions can be directed to Kristen Lawson, acting director, at klawson@rosellepld.org.

To be eligible to serve on the board of trustees, interested candidates must meet the following qualifications as outlined in 75 ILCS 16/30-20:

• Be a qualified elector of the library district;

• Reside in the library district for at least one year at the time of application;

• Not be in arrears in the payment of property taxes to the library district;

• Not have been convicted in any court in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony.

The successful applicant will fill a seat due for re-election at the April 4, 2023, Consolidated General Election.
