Banner Kitchen & Bath Partners with Highland Park Community Foundation as Corporate Champion; Pledges 5-year Financial Commitment

Highland Park Community Foundation (HPCF) welcomes Banner Kitchen & Bath, a respected industry leader since 1946, to the HPCF Corporate Champion Program.

The HPCF Corporate Champion Program, launched in 2020, was created to develop relationships with businesses and build long-term partnerships that will help the HPCF address unmet needs of and expand opportunities for all Highland Park and Highwood residents. The HPCF awards grants on an annual basis to nonprofits and agencies that provide a wide range of programs and services for the youngest to the oldest members of our community. Donations to the HPCF through its Corporate Champion Program will help ensure the HPCF has the financial resources it needs to support these programs.

"We are beyond grateful for the generous support of Banner Kitchen & Bath," said David Reich, Chairman, Highland Park Community Foundation. "Their 5-year commitment will provide much-needed financial assistance for over 50 nonprofit organizations and agencies that serve community members."

"Banner Kitchen & Bath welcomes the opportunity to be an HPCF Corporate Champion. As an industry leader for 75 years, we are proud to partner with a charitable organization that shares our commitment to better the lives of individuals in need. Banner's mission to support the communities we serve continues to be one of the building blocks of our business." Gene Hara,Co-partner,Banner Kitchen & Bath.

"Financial commitments pledged by Corporate Champions provide reliable resources for programs and services that Highland Park and Highwood residents need to thrive or, sometimes, just to survive," said Betsy Brint, Vice-Chairman, Highland Park Community Foundation.

Banner Kitchen & Bath's partnership with the HPCF along with the pledges of other "Champions" will result in an improved quality of life for all Highland Park and Highwood children, teens, families, and seniors. Banner's donation and their support of HPCF's mission guarantees unmet needs of the community will be addressed and lives will be enriched.

The HPCF urges all corporations and businesses that are committed to a culture of community support to join its HPCF Corporate Champion Program. The Program features 4 tiers - Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum - each with an annual commitment and a pledge guaranteeing 5 years of support.

Through the Corporate Champion Program and Highland Park Community Foundation's annual grants to nonprofits, the HPCF is able to address needs in five main categories: education, human services, senior services, services for individuals with disabilities, and the creative and cultural arts. By improving the lives of individuals, the entire Highland Park-Highwood community benefits.

The HPCF Corporate Program was developed to benefit the participating businesses as well. For more information or to become a Corporate Champion, contact HPCF Executive Director, Terri Olian, terri@hpcfil.org or 847-433-4100.
