Schaumburg Library to Present Colon Health Program

Colon health risks, screening strategies and more will be discussed during "Colon Cancer Prevention and Colon Health" from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 28 on Zoom, hosted by the Schaumburg Township District Library. Register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link or watch live streamed at SchaumburgLibrary.tv.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after hearing from Dr. Anna Patel, board-certified gastroenterologist with AMITA Resurrection Medical Centers. Dr. Patel will talk about who is considered high risk for colon cancer, options for screening, how to check colon health, and other related topics. This program is presented by Illinois Indian American Medical Association.
