Library's Harper College Info Session Helps Students with Foreign College Credits

Adult students, ages 18 and up, can learn about the Harper College credentials evaluation process and more during an upcoming online program offered by the Schaumburg Township District Library. "Harper College Virtual Student Information Session" will take place from 6-7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1 on Zoom. The session is geared toward immigrant students who have earned credentials outside the United States, but all adult students are welcome to participate. Anyone interested in participating must register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link.

Participants will learn how Harper evaluates their school credits from foreign colleges and universities. They will also receive information about tuition relief, scholarships, and the Perkins Program.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are closed to the public until further notice in accordance with COVID guidelines. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
