Library's Free Gale Courses Cover Languages, Business, Art and More

Interactive, instructor-led Gale courses on a multitude of topics are available for free to Schaumburg Township District Library cardholders. This service includes Gale's newest offerings: Intro to Microsoft Outlook 2019, Intro to Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Fundamentals, Certificate in Mindful Relationships, Intermediate Quickbooks, Intro to the Medical Laboratory and Beginning Writers' Workshop.

Gale Courses are taken online and last six weeks, with new sessions beginning every month. To access these courses, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org and click on E-Library, then choose Online Learning and follow the prompts. A Schaumburg Township District Library card and PIN will be needed to register for courses.

Gale's most popular courses include Speed Spanish, Intro to Interior Design, Accounting Fundamentals, Discover Sign Language and Stocks, Bonds and Investing. These are just a few of more than 360 subjects listed under the main categories in the course catalog.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are closed to the public until further notice in accordance with COVID guidelines. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
