ECC student services offices special hours for enrollment assistance

Extended business hours will be available at Elgin Community College to support students with enrollment for ECC's spring semester, which begins Tuesday, Jan. 19.

There is still time to register for spring classes. Classes are offered online and a hybrid format that combines online learning and in-person instruction.

Current or prospective students can access services remotely Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A list of individual office hours and contact information is available at elgin.edu/remotehub.

Enrollment Saturday service hours are as follows:

• Saturday, Jan. 9: remote services available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Saturday, Jan. 16: remote and on-campus services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Services for both Saturdays include academic advising, admissions, registration, financial aid, student accounts, and first stop.

Testing services:

Open for in-person testing every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment only. Remote testing is available daily. Please visit elgin.edu/testing to register.

ECC Bookstore:

Open for in-store pickup of materials on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Orders need to be placed ahead of time at bookstore.elgin.edu. Students with questions about materials can contact the bookstore at eccbookstore@elgin.edu.

Accessing campus:

Please use Entrance A1-2 to access the campus. All offices noted above are located in Building B. Parking lots A and B are the best options for accessing campus. ECC requires temperature checks and face coverings for all visitors coming to campus, and social distancing protocols remain in place.

Spring classes start dates are as follows:

• Tuesday, Jan 19: 16-week classes begin

• Tuesday, Feb. 16: 12-week classes begin

• Monday, March 15: 8-week classes begin
