Interested in Family History? Join Library's Genealogy Chit Chat

Anyone interested in genealogy is welcome to join the online "Genealogy Chit Chat" with the Schaumburg Township District Library from 2-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22 on Zoom.

Tony Kierna, the library's genealogist, will host this informal gathering to help those interested in learning more about their family roots. No library card or fee is required. To register, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org and click "events" to find the program. A Zoom link will be provided after online registration is complete.

"This is just a good old-fashioned discussion on genealogy,"Kierna said. "In order to start the ball rolling, we'll discuss genealogy societies and what they mean to the genealogical researcher."

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as share information and research experiences.
