Adopt-an-Older Adult During Holidays: Join the #GivingTuesday Movement and Support the Center of Concern
Adopt-an-Older Adult during the holidays as part of the Center of Concern's annual #GivingTuesday program. #GivingTuesday happens the Tuesday after Thanksgiving as a way to start the holiday season by positively impacting the local community and charitable causes.
Adopt-an-older adult on or before #GivingTuesday on Dec. 1 and help the Center of Concern combat loneliness of older adults within the community. By supporting this program, a Center of Concern volunteer - while safely social distancing - will deliver a poinsettia to an older adult to be enjoyed throughout the season. Donations for this program are being accepted any time in November and especially on #GivingTuesday, Dec. 1.
The Center of Concern announced that the RRF Foundation for Aging (formerly The Retirement Research Foundation) will match donations for the Adopt-an-Older Adult program, up to $5,000.
