District 214 Community Education Offers Exciting Summer Camps!

Are you looking for engaging in-person camps for your kids this summer?

District 214 Community Education is offering a variety of unique camps for kids ages 5 to 12, with safety precautions being taken.

Our exciting camps will allow kids to embark on a journey through various countries and cultures, learn how to make creations out of clay and stay active through dance and fitness.

"Around the World" Summer Camp, partnering with Amazing Minds, will offer a camp where kids can learn about various cultures through interactive games and activities.

Clay Camp with Thrown Elements Pottery will teach kids traditional clay building techniques. Campers will also learn painting and glazing techniques and get a chance to express themselves in a creative way through a unique hands-on experience.

Kids can release some pent-up energy in our wide variety of dance and fitness camps that include Cheerleading/Poms, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Youth Yoga and Parent/Child Yoga! Learn more about our fantastic camps and sign up on our website at ce.d214.org.

In order to welcome back campers safely, we are putting several safety precautions in place. Camps are limited to a maximum of 15 campers, temperature checks of all registered campers, social distancing will be enforced with at least six feet between participants, classrooms are at no more than 50 percent capacity during the summer and face coverings will be required while campers are in public areas of the building and in classrooms they may or may not be required depending on the activity and the ability to social distance.
