Summer Reading Challenge begins at Poplar Creek Library

Streamwood, IL, June 10, 2020 - Poplar Creek Public Library District has begun its Summer Reading Challenge "Hidden Treasures at Your Library!" The program runs June 1 through August 15, 2020, and is available to all ages.

Patrons can register for the program in one of three ways: online (pclib.org), download the mobile app from their smart device (search READsquared), or call 630-837-6800. Earn your first prize just for signing up, and for every 150 minutes read, you will earn a raffle ticket for the chance to win one of our grand prizes. Prizes will also be given away at the midway point, and upon completion (while supplies last). The great thing is all reading counts-books, magazines, graphic novels, and even audiobooks!

New this year, both the Main Library located in Streamwood and the Sonya Crawshaw Branch Library in Hanover Park is offering curbside pickup of prizes.

For more information on Summer Reading Challenge, please visit pclib.org or call 630-837-6800.
