"Listen, Slowly" is the middle school title for the Library's One Book, One Community reading experience in Schaumburg Township. It is the fictional story of California-born Mai, who can't wait to spend her vacation at the beach. Instead, she has to travel to Vietnam with her grandmother, who is going back to find out what really happened to her husband during the Vietnam War. "Listen, Slowly" is a New York Times Book Review Notable Book and a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year.

More information about programs, events and classes at the library are listed in the library's February-March Guide, which was mailed to Schaumburg Township residents and is available at www.SchaumburgLibrary.org.
