North Suburban YMCA to Host January Trivia Night Fundraiser

The North Suburban YMCA will hold its first Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, January 25th from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. at the Y, located at 2705 Techny Road in Northbrook. Open to the public, participants are invited to form teams of 8, and individual entries are also welcome.

The cost to participate in the Trivia Night event is $40 per person or $320 for a team of 8, and includes beer, wine, and snacks, and a chance to win raffle prizes. Babysitting is available for $5 per child with pre-registration. All proceeds from Trivia Night will benefit the community-supported North Suburban YMCA's mission-focused programs including the 2 Seconds 2 Long Swim Safety Program, which ensured that 1,600 children did not become a drowning statistic in 2019; the over 100 Adult Education programs offered FREE to the community; programs for individuals with special needs such as the Special Olympics Swim Team, HAWKS Summer Camp, HAWKS Science, Technology, Engineering, and Art and Math (S.T.E.A.M.); and the 2,600 individuals who receive access to Y programs through the Strong Kids Scholarship fund.

"We're excited to offer the community an opportunity to give back and have a fantastic night out. Plus, all participants will get a chance to show the depth of their prowess of trivial information while battling for the top spot," said Kathy Fielding, NSYMCA Vice President of Membership, Programs, and Marketing.

To participate, register at www.nsymca.org by January 23rd.
