New Menu Debuts at Wynburg Cafe

After a successful couple of months under new management, WynBurg Cafe in Arlington Heights is adding exciting new menu options, including recent specials that were so popular, they warranted a spot on the permanent menu. The new menu debuted November 12 at this neighborhood breakfast and lunch hot spot.

"Though we have a creative vision for the restaurant, we also give a lot of weight to customer feedback," said WynBurg Cafe co-owner Steve Hamburg. "As a community restaurant, we want to offer the dishes our customers enjoy most, which is why some of our popular specials are making their way onto the menu."

One such special is the chilaquiles, which has been a top seller for the past two months. The new menu will also include two popular novelty pancakes, the s'mores pancake with graham cracker crumbles, Hershey chocolate pieces and house-made marshmallow fluff, and the cookie jar pancake, made with Oreo cookie crumbles and chocolate chip cookie dough.

"Beyond adding popular specials to the menu, we want to ensure everyone who walks in can find something to eat," said co-owner Patty Wynne. "So, we've added more vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free options to the menu and expanded our kid's menu to include mac and cheese and corn dogs."

The new menu features a build-your-own-burger, and vegetarians now have the option to choose the plant-based ImpossibleTM Burger as their protein. ImpossibleTM products and tofu can also be substituted for any egg dishes that include meat.

All of these great new menu items can be ordered in-house or online via DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub.

The creative menu changes come on the tails of a re-brand for the cafe that included new owners, a new name, new signage and interior changes to the restaurant. WynBurg Cafe is located at 306 East Rand Road near the corner of Rand Road and Arlington Heights Road. For more details, call 847-398-8900.
