Rock your best costume at Halloween Boonanza

Participate in a Halloween carnival with fun for the whole family at Schaumburg Park District's Halloween Boonanza, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank.

The event is set for 6-9 p.m., Oct. 25, at the Community Recreation Center (CRC), 505 N. Springinsguth Road and Safety Park. The CRC will be transformed into a Halloween carnival featuring crafts, inflatables, candy, trick-or-treating, a haunted train ride, carnival games, prizes, entertainment and a costume contest.

"Join us as we kick off Halloween with one of our biggest events," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager. "The costume contest is always a hit with attendees!"

Event is for children ages 2 to 14 years old. Pre-registration deadline is 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Cost is $10 per child. Fee includes all activities except concessions. Day-of and walk-up registration are available at an increased fee of $12 per child. Admission is free to parents and children younger than 2 years old.
