Volunteers at Christ Church Downers Grove show community service at its best
Volunteers from the Christ Church Downers Grove congregation and community, including members of the Glenbard South High School football team, are pitching in as the church moves into its new church home.
Their new permanent church home is located at 2S361 Glen Park Road in Lombard, in the Butterfield corridor area.
Volunteers are helping to prepare the grounds and internal space for the church's first worship service in the new location on Sunday, Oct. 6.
