WORD Bible study class begins Sept. 9

No other person has impacted human history like Jesus. No other person has lived like Jesus, made claims like Jesus or performed miracles like Jesus. No other person has been more misunderstood than Jesus.

So, who is Jesus really?

The WORD Bible Study Course will help you answer that question and it may change your understanding of Jesus.

Jesus asked the question "Who do you say I am?" (Matthew 16:13).

The course is open to all people regardless of their faith background, or lack of it. Tim Hetzner, president/CEO of Lutheran Church Charities will teach the class live.

Hetzner is the author and teacher of the in-depth Bible Study curriculum called "WORD," with over 4,500 students from 26 states plus internet students. Hetzner writes a daily devotion that is emailed nationally and he also leads Biblical study tours to the Middle East and Europe.

The WORD Bible Study Course will be on Mondays, Sept. 9 through May 25, at three locations and times. All three classes each week cover the same material, so you have the flexibility to attend the class that best fits your schedule.

• 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods
