WIM Fox Valley starts new season with Rabbi Frisch Klein Sept. 12

On Thursday, Sept. 12, WIM Fox Valley kicks off its 35th year of programs with Rabbi Margaret Frisch Klein of Congregation Kneseth Israel in Elgin.

The lunch meeting will be held at Emmett's Brewing Co., 128 W. Main St. in West Dundee. It will begin with networking at 11:30 a.m., luncheon and program at noon. Meetings adjourn at 1 p.m. Cost for members is $25 or $28 for nonmembers. Area women in business are welcome to attend this month's presentation.

Sponsor for this month's meeting is Attorney Janet W. Ellingson of Elgin. Her areas of practice include family law, estate planning, real estate and litigation.

Rabbi Frisch Klein has been an entrepreneur and strategy consultant for high tech companies. She serves on several local boards including the Chicago Board of Rabbis and the 16th Circuit Court Steering Committee on Family Violence. She blogs as the "Energizer Rabbi" and is the author of two books, one of which is coming out this fall.

"Our WIM members are successful entrepreneurs, managers, and dedicated community volunteers," said Ann Louis, who continues in her second term as 2019-20 WIM Fox Valley president. "We look forward to hearing about the many facets of Rabbi Frisch Klein, who is a well-respected community leader."

Louis, a Campton Hills resident, owns Louis Consulting Inc. in Elgin. She adds, "Our upcoming speakers and programs again bring top level topics and expertise to our membership. We welcome business women in the community to join us, network, and make new community connections."

WIM Fox Valley was founded in 1984. It is a leading women's business organization in Elgin providing professional development and business education scholarships and mentoring opportunities for area women. Members are comprised of women in business professionals and entrepreneurs in a wide range of categories.
