Carol Stream Woman's Club to host potluck salad supper Aug. 19

The Carol Stream Woman's Club will host a potluck salad supper with musical entertainment on Monday, Aug. 19.

It will be 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the picnic shelter at Barbara O'Rahilly Volunteer Park, 302 Kuhn Road in Carol Stream.

Bring your favorite salad from potato, pasta, vegetable, jello, chicken, etc. Homemade is best!

Club member Jan Neal is bringing her ukulele friends from Lombard to entertain.

The club will provide plates, plastic ware, beverages, and other picnic paraphernalia.

There will be a quick business meeting and a 50/50 raffle.

Bring a lawn chair, if you wish. Invite a friend!

In the event of bad weather, the supper will be held at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 965 Kuhn Road, across from Glenbard North High School.

The Carol Stream Woman's Club is a philanthropic and social club that supports local organizations with time and monetary donations.
