Community Church of Rolling Meadows Corn Fest and Craft Fair August 3

The 63rd Annual Cornfest and Craft Fair at Community Church of Rolling Meadows will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Craft Fair from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm). Admission to the grounds is free. The menu features all you can eat sweet corn, grown locally and picked just hours before it is boiled to perfection and smothered in butter. The meal also includes your choice of grilled sandwich (hamburger, brat, or hot dog with grilled onions and condiments) as well as a slice of watermelon and a cold beverage. Seating will be "under the tent" for rain or shine enjoyment. Meal tickets may be purchased at the door: Adults $13.00; Seniors $11.00; and Children (4 - 10) $4.00; Children 3 and under Free hot dog meal. (Presale tickets available online at www.communitychurchrm.com with $1 discount until July 31st.) And, back by popular demand, we have a "Drive -thru" to enable you to get a $13 meal to go without getting out of your car! Fresh picked sweet corn also will be bagged for sale by the dozen or half-dozen. A tradition since 1957, this popular event is a source of community fellowship each August. Come and spend the day with us! Something for everyone! We will have kids' activities including face painting and a bouncy house; a raffle for entertainment venues as well as 50-50 cash; and live music for all ages that will be provided throughout the day by local artists. The line-up includes music by Northwest Community Mini-Concert Band, The Chordmasters, Ed Jordan Jazz Trio, Francisco Band featuring Ashley Dresden, Frankie Miglio, and Barb Sorensen.

Our Craft Fair (10:00 am - 6:00 pm) will feature many booths filled with handmade arts and crafts by area artisans, as well as other vendors. The Community Church of Rolling Meadows is located at the northeast corner of Kirchoff Road and Meadow Drive, in the heart of Rolling Meadows.
