    Two college preparation programs are coming to the Schaumburg Library in April. Teens and parents are invited to learn about college admissions and finding the best-fit college.

High school students and their parents are welcome to attend two college preparation programs in April at the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Topics will include finding the best fit college and impressing college admission officers. Both programs are free, but require registration. To register, call (847) 923-3347 or visit the Information Desk or Teen Desk on the library's second floor.

"Summer Prep for College" will be held from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 11 in the Adult Classroom. Thomas Jaworski of Quest College Consulting will provide advice on how college applicants should present themselves to college admission officers.

"Finding the Best-Fit College" will take place from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 26 in the Adult Classroom. Members of My College Planning Team will discuss selection of college majors, secrets of the admissions process and critical details of the new ACT/SAT tests, including ways to improve scores.
