Glenbard East students prep samples for imaging at Argonne Lab

Glenbard East High School students involved in the Exemplary Student Research Program hosted by Argonne National Laboratory visited Leica Biosystems to cut lichen samples for imaging at the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne Lab in Lemont.

Glenbard East parent and graduate Jason Ong hosted the group at Leica.

Under the guidance of Ong and Leica technical specialist John Stock, Glenbard East students participated in several hours of technical problem solving, ultimately resulting in the successful sectioning of the samples.
