Fundraiser underway to help surviving family of Schaumburg firefighter who died unexpectedly

Funds are being raised to help the family of a Schaumburg firefighter who died unexpectedly last week.

The Mundelein Park and Recreation District will receive a $200,000 state grant to help fund its efforts to revitalize its Diamond Lake Recreation Center, Beach, and Boat Launch.
