Courtyard Chicago Glenview/Northbrook under new ownership

GLENVIEW - Courtyard Chicago Glenview/Northbrook was sold, effective Tuesday, May 24, to California-based Myat Thida Myint & Associates LLC.

The purchase price of the 149-room property at 1801 Milwaukee Ave. in Glenview was not disclosed.

The company has selected General Hotels Corp., based in Indianapolis, as the new management company for the property effective immediately.

"Chicago is a beautiful and vibrant city with hardworking people. Looking forward, we believe this city has great economic potential as we recover from the pandemic together as a nation," said Dr. Aung Oo, one of the two owners of Myat Thida Myint & Associates.

Both the ownership and management company said the property's existing hotel staff will be staying on in their current positions.
