Harper College to hold Employee Attraction and Retention Summit Sept. 23

With businesses facing ongoing challenges to find and keep employees, Harper College is hosting an Employee Attraction and Retention Summit, "Where Did Everybody Go?"

The engaging event, which is free to the public, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Wojcik Amphitheater at Harper College, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

The Employee Attraction and Retention Summit will bring together industry thought leaders to share best practices in today's evolving marketplace.

Attendees will hear the latest in government action to support businesses; learn how to make their business a most-desired DEI workplace; visit with area organizations at a mini expo; and hear from experts during a Q&A session. Continental breakfast is also included.

The lineup includes representatives of Harper College, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center, Schaumburg Business Association, Express Employment Professionals, Business and Career Services Inc., Meet Chicago Northwest, Illinois Manufacturers' Association and Arts Alliance Illinois.

The event is free, but registration is required. Kindly register by Monday, Sept. 19.
