Origami art from around the world coming to Schaumburg Library

Visit Schaumburg Township District Library Sept. 23-25 to enjoy the art of paper folding with three days of Origami exhibits and workshops.

This fall, Schaumburg Library welcomes the Chicago Area Origami Society (CHAOS) as they showcase an international exhibition featuring art created by origami designers from around the world. You can also take part in hands-on origami demonstrations for all ages throughout the exhibition.

CHAOS is a group for origami enthusiasts, learners, folders and designers. They meet monthly in Chicago. Visit ChaosOrigami.org to learn more.

Origami exhibits and workshops will be at Schaumburg Township District Library's Central Library the following dates and times:

• Friday, Sept. 23:10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Saturday, Sept. 24: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Sunday, Sept. 25: Noon to 4 p.m.
