Blue Bird Day in Wheaton has grand opening
Blue Bird Day Program is proud to announce the grand opening of our third location in the Chicago area, located at 140 E. Loop Road in Wheaton.
Blue Bird Day offers intensive therapy to children with autism and other conditions in a preschool and kindergarten-like setting. Instead of teachers, we employ specialized therapists who work together to help their clients improve learning, socialization, speech, and sensory regulation. Each child is cared for based on their unique goals, and our relationship-based therapists develop individual treatment plans that are regularly updated as our clients grow.
"We are thrilled to bring our high quality, multi-disciplined service model to the western suburbs! We[LM1] believe in our program and the positive impact it has on the entire family. We see that as our children succeed at our center, they build the confidence and skills to succeed across all settings- such as at home, in our community and at school," said Dr. Laura Mraz, occupational therapist, child development specialist, and founder of Blue Bird Day.
This program is ideal for children with autism, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Our multi-disciplinary team includes occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, social workers, and a nutritionist - all focused on the growth and well-being of our clients and their caregivers.
Blue Bird Day Program is actively hiring at our Wheaton, West Loop, and Northcenter locations for therapy, admin, and entry-level therapeutic assistant positions.
