Teens can 'Create and Chill' with Schaumburg Library

Teens can relax and get creative in an upcoming online program offered by the Schaumburg Township District Library.

"Create and Chill with Indira and Jess" will take place from 3-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, on Zoom. The program is free, but requires registration. Register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive a Zoom link and a date for picking up the program kit.

Teens ages 12-19 will start a collective group time capsule by creating a snapshot of 2020 and positive images for 2021 and beyond.

Those who want to pick up a kit with paper, newspaper and collage material will receive information on how to do so upon registration. These materials, combined with items found in each participant's home, will be used to create a capsule of items that depict 2020.

A full list of upcoming online programs is available at SchaumburgLibrary.org. All three library buildings are closed until further notice, in accordance with the governor's guidelines.
