MCC student art exhibit opens at Woodstock Courthouse Satellite Gallery

The artwork of McHenry County College students will be on display as part of the Voices & Skyway Select exhibit at the Satellite Gallery at the Old Courthouse Art Center, 101 N. Johnson St., Woodstock.

The gallery will host an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, and the artwork will be on display until March 8. The reception is free and open to the public.

Voices & Skyway Select is an exhibition of work from artists who have been chosen to represent MCC in the Skyway Art Competition, or those whose work has been selected for inclusion in the 2020 edition of Voices, MCC's arts and literary magazine. The gallery features the work of Francesca McGinley of Cary; Matthew Bork, Linda Cannizzo, Michelle Mathis, Katelyn Rowlett, and Ben Sandquist of Crystal Lake; Deanne Ferguson of Huntley; Patti Stricker of Lake in the Hills; Cheyenne Turley of Wonder Lake; and Denise Hoover, Anne Marie Whitmore Lenzini, and Jenny Vigh of Woodstock.

The Satellite Gallery in the Old Courthouse Arts Center is part of a partnership with the Northwest Area Arts Council.
