Scott Muller of Muller's Woodfield Acura Elected to Chicago Automobile Trade Association Board of Directors

Scott Muller, owner of Muller's Woodfield Acura, was recently elected to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board of directors.

"When I opened my Acura store 33 years ago, the CATA helped me with a unionization issue," said Muller. "Over the decades the CATA has fought big and small to make things better for dealers and consumers and now I have the opportunity to pay it forward. I am honored and will do my best to keep the fight going."

Muller, born in Chicago and currently a resident of Lake Forest, Illinois, began working exclusively in the auto industry in 1975. He became owner of Muller's Woodfield Acura in 1986. Prior to that, Muller served in various positions at Highland Park Pontiac - Honda.

An alumnus of New Trier West High School in Northfield, Illinois, Muller graduated from the University of Iowa in 1980 with a degree in marketing. Muller is also part owner of Honda, Subaru and Volkswagen stores in the Chicago area.

Muller is a member of the Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce, is an active fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project and the Navy Seal Foundation and has two children.
