Advocate Lutheran General Hospital 2016 Gala Huge Success

Proceeds from the Gala will benefit patient care at Advocate Heart Institute at Lutheran General Hospital, specifically a new catheterization lab, which officially opened its doors last month. The beautiful and innovative new space is an example of Advocate Heart Institute's continuing investment in providing leading heart care in our region. Patients undergoing state-of-the-art heart procedures in the most advanced labs available also benefit from unique one-of-a-kind recovery rooms providing a pleasing, anxiety-free and restful experience. The amenities in the bays are unique to the nation. For those having radial procedures, a radial lounge provides an environment unique to the Midwest.

Four individuals who have made a significant impact on patient care at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital were honored for their contributions. The late Robert and Helen Beart, formerly of Park Ridge, were recognized as the Community Honorees, Ira DuBrow, MD, was the Physician Honoree and Clint Moore, III, MDiv, PhD, received the Distinguished Faculty Award.
