Grayslake church bell choir to present 'Spring Ring'

The Grace Notes Bell Choir of United Protestant Church of Grayslake will present a "Spring Ring" concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, in the UPC Sanctuary. The concert will feature music from a variety of seasons of the church year performed by the full bell choir, small groups and even a solo ringer.

A freewill offering to support the UPC music ministry will be taken.

The UPC concert will help the bell choir members prepare for the 11th Annual JuBellee Handbell Festival, which will be May 2 at the Rockford Christian High School in Rockford.

The United Protestant Church of Grayslake is affiliated with the United Church of Christ Fox Valley Association and the United Methodist Church Northern Illinois Conference.

The church is in historic downtown Grayslake at 54 S. Whitney St. Worship services are at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays, with Christian education for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Sundays during the school year.
