  While taking a leisurely walk along trails at Fullersburg Woods in Oak Brook, I noticed an interesting composition of a pair of Canada geese along the banks of Salt Creek. In an apparent optical illusion, my mind began to do a double take for a few seconds regarding the reflection. Then, the pair moved in the water and swam away.   Shamrock shaped glasses always come in a variety of styles at the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in St. Charles. This year, the ones worn by Ryan Haynes, 9, of Evergreen Park in Chicago, Sean O'Connor, 10, of St. Charles, and Ciara Puett, 4, of Sugar Grove, caught my eye that day. Sean and Ciara are parade regulars, and this year Ryan and his dad David came all the way from Chicago to check it out and said they will be back next year.   Mill Creek Elementary School principal George Petmezas removes his safety goggles after having whipped cream pies thrown in his face by four lucky students on Friday. Students bought raffle tickets for a shot at putting a pie in his face at a recent school event. $275 was raised and will be put towards the $5,000 school year goal of raising money for the new Ronald McDonald House at Central DuPage Hospital.
