Fox Lake offers tours of wastewater plant

Fox Lake will host an open house tour of the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Visitors can learn how the NWRWRF operates and protects the environment, then meet the staff who process and treat wastewater on a 24-hour basis. The NWRWRF is located at 200 Industrial Ave. in Fox Lake, and tours will begin at 9 a.m. in the wastewater treatment administration building.
