Funeral set for boy stabbed to death in Naperville

The family of Justin Plackowski has announced funeral services for the Naperville 7-year-old, who authorities say was stabbed to death by his mother in a horrific double murder last week.

A notice posted on the website of Justin’s school, Scott Elementary in Naperville District 203, invited members of the school community to the services saying, “It is the family’s hope that you will be able to attend services and remember Justin with them.”

A wake will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Road in Naperville. Justin’s funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, also at St. Elizabeth Seton Church.

Justin and 5-year-old Olivia Dworakowski of Naperville, who authorities say were stabbed to death by Justin’s mother, 40-year-old Elzbieta Plackowska, were remembered Friday with a candlelight vigil at Olivia’s school, Brookdale Elementary in Indian Prairie Unit District 204.

Funeral arrangements for Olivia have not yet been made public, but a fund has been set up to help her family with funeral expenses.
