•Thieves stole a large lime green purse around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 26 from a bar stool at Dry Dock Bar, 27045 Grass Lake Road, police said. Value was estimated at $80.
Deer Park
•Michael J. Dufour, 19, 409 W. Clarendon St., Prospect Heights, was arrested around 1:50 a.m. Sept. 16 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, fireworks and alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at Arrowood and Dwight avenues, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Oct. 15.
Grayslake
•Colin V. McCauley, 17, 991 S. Arlington Drive, Round Lake, was arrested Sept. 25 at Grayslake Central High School, 400 N. Lake St., and charged with unlawful storage of a weapon (knife), police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 16.
Gurnee
•Lakshmi Sayala, 35, 1553 Acorn Court, Gurnee, was arrested around 12:25 p.m. Oct. 1 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Sears Grand, 6136 Route 132, saw her take a pair of shoes valued at $75 and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.
•Cathy Catalano-Engelbreit, 51, 3239 Gabriel, Zion, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. Oct. 1 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 6120 Route 132, saw her take clothes and jewelry and leave without paying, police said. Value was estimated at $198. A court date was not available.
•Vandals spray-painted graffiti overnight Oct. 1-2 on a park rules sign and picnic table in Christine Thompson Park, 551 Belle Plaine Ave., police said. A damage estimate was not available.
Hawthorn Woods
•Fadi N. Dababneh, 19, 14 Echo Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested around 3:10 p.m. Sept. 27 and charged with possession of a fraudulent driver's license after a traffic stop at West Hawley Street and La Vista Drive, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Nov. 14.

•Timothy H. McKinney, 25, 123 Riverwalk Lane, Port Barrington, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. Oct. 3 and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at Route 176 and Williams Park Road, police said. A court date was not available.

•Felipe Perez-Hernandez, 37, 2148 N. Ginger Circle Drive, Palatine, was arrested around 11:50 a.m. Sept. 17 and charged with theft and traffic violations after an officer discovered that Perez-Hernandez had disobeyed traffic laws and had stolen scrap metal from a business at 20450 Rand Road, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 17.

•Thieves stole 35 DVDs around 6 p.m. Oct. 2 from the Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, police said. Value was estimated at $480.
Mundelein
•Nicholas C. Lemmons, 29, 69 N. Prairie Ave., Mundelein, and David N. Davis, 26, 242 Augusta Blvd., DeKalb, were arrested around 11 p.m. Sept. 26 at 69 N. Prairie Ave. and charged with possession of a narcotic instrument after an officer found them with hypodermic needles, police said. Their Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 17.
Round Lake Beach
•Jose A. Tostada, 20, 222 S. Channel Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Idlewild Drive, police said. A court date was not available.
Wauconda
•Two teenage boys stole a wallet around 11:25 p.m. Sept. 27 out of an unlocked 2008 Chevrolet Malibu parked at a home on the 28600 block of Monroe Street, the Lake County sheriff's office said. The victim shouted at them and they ran away, dropping $21 from the wallet, reports added. Value of the missing items was estimated at $29.
•Stephen G. Amundson, 24, 3412 Greenleaf Ave., Island Lake, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. Sept. 28 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of North Main Street, police said. His court date was set for Oct. 22.
