Finch to appear at Westminster Christian

Jennie Finch, respected as one of the best softball players in the world, will spend a day in Elgin soon and conduct a pitching demonstration at Westminster Christian High School.

Finch, who has signed a three-year contract to play for the Chicago Bandits, will appear at Westminster on Friday, March 6. She will appear at an assembly for middle school and high school students at approximately 2 p.m. and then give a one-hour demonstration beginning at 3:30 p.m.

There is a charge of $40 per person to attend the demonstration.

Finch will then speak at Westminster's fellowship fundraiser in the evening at Stomegate Conference and Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates. The fellowship dinner is an invitation-only affair.
