Literary Review: The Literary Review Book Club of Des Plaines will present five luncheon/book reviews at noon Fridays, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Feb. 13, March 13 and May 8 at the Des Plaines Elks Club, 495 Lee St., Des Plaines. The reviewers will be Denise Philpot, Jenny Riddle, Nancy Buehler, Suzanne Hales, and Barbara Rinella. A limited number of memberships are still available for the upcoming season. The group's purpose is to provide the community with a luncheon as well as to promote the books and interesting subjects that are reviewed.
