Fright night

Head to Freddie's in Mount Prospect this Hallo-weekend for costume contests and live music. "Freddie's Fright Night" runs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. All contest finalists will win a complimentary cocktail party along with Ala Carte Entertainment coupons.

Rock of Halloween

Party with Brandi C. from VH1's "Rock of Love" at 9 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 31 at Alumni Club in Schaumburg. Come dressed in your most creative costume and you could be chosen as a finalist in Alumni's costume contest with more than $5,000 in cash and prizes. Contest starts at midnight. All finalists will walk away with complimentary cocktail parties and coupons. Cover starts at $5, based on space availability.
