Bartlett parent charged with DUI outside school

The father of a Bartlett Elementary student was arrested Friday afternoon after police say he was driving drunk when he picked up his child from school.

Jozef Mucha, 38, of 206 N. Hale Ave. in Bartlett, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. near the school's entrance at 111 E. North Ave.

Mucha was taken to the police station and charged with aggravated DUI, Bartlett police said.

School officials had called police with complaints of a drunken parent, police said. Authorities also charged Mucha with aggravated driving with a revoked license and no insurance.

His bond information wasn't available.
